The Russian Formula 1 Grand Prix is scheduled to be held in 2014, a few
months after the 2014 winter olympics in Sochi Russia. Basically,
the entire Olympic site will be transformed into a permanent Formula 1
circuit. Logistically it will be rough to meet the 2014 deadline,
but with the billions being spent to make the olympic villiage and arenas,
the Formula 1 circuit at this site makes great sense moving forward.
Here is a map to help you get a sense of where the city of Sochi Russia
is, and the a detailed drawing of the Olympic/F1 Russian circuit will
be...and yes it will be another Tilke circuit.
